About the Rules as Code Community of Practice

Rules as Code is an emerging model where legislation is developed directly in human and machine readable language. This approach has significant benefits when complex legislation needs to be maintained as a digital service.

We’re bringing together practitioners and interested parties from the public sector, private sector and academia to discuss opportunities and challenges for implementing Rules as Code, including ethical, technical and governance considerations.

Our Rules as Code Community of Practice has been initiated in partnership with La Trobe LawTech and the Australian Society for Computers & Law.
